This picture is very personal and means a lot to me, so do without criticism, please. Thank you!! "Love is the best thing that can keep you together." (Anonymous) Finally! My entry for  's contest *zaphiel-san encouraged me to participate in it and I was VERY afraid not to fail and let him down by not maiking it on time... but it's 5a.m. and it seems I finished drawing...*phew* I'm so happy ^__^ The theme is : love. Whilst sketching this piece I thought a lot about *zaphiel-san and me. What I find most fascinating and wonderful about love is, that even if two people are seemingly different, as if they were living in two different worlds, those worlds merge together when they hug each other...Can you recall that comforting, pleasant feeling of inner peace, when you know you're loved? That's what I wanted to show. I hope I succeeded and you'll like this picture ^^ I wonder if you're able to name some of the items I drew in the background and say what they're meant to symbolise  Oli.Time taken: more or less 12 hours Media: Bic ballpoint pen, many coloured pencils (mainly Derwent and Bruynzeel), white gel-pen, Copic Markers. (sorry for the mistakes in the description, I really need to go to bed now, I'm going to correct it later if needed  ) |
