Two days ago my pet degu Dani died.
It's a hard time for me, everything which reminds me of this little creature makes me cry.
In such moments I like to think that the pets, when die, become angels, or at least go to a place where they won't suffer anymore.

In the picture you can see Dani (died October 2009), Neon (July 2009) and Laguna (the smallest one, died in 2005), the three degus of mine. Each of them died from long-lasting illnesses. They did wanted to live, my family and I fought for their lives but lost.

Goodbye, my dear little friends. I miss you very, very much and won't forget you.

Im sorry. I have degus as well and I always am very emotional when they die. THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE MAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

dejus are adorable. i'm sorry... i got rather attached to my hamsters and it's awful to feel dying life in your hands. Marty (my hamster) had to be put down but he was pretty much asleep in my palms... i still miss him too...
your drawing captures your emotion brilliantly, it's lovely
